THE REGIONAL FACTORS OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR'S RAPID EMERGENCY RESPONSE AT THE GREAT EAST JAPAN EARTHQUAKE

Abstract

 Rapid emergency response were performed by construction constracots and so on. In this paper, the factors of the rapid emergency response by region were analyzed with the survey result conducted by National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management, MILIT, Tohoku Regional Bureau, MLIT, and Organization of TOHOKU Construction Contractors Association. As a result, it was found that construction contractors used their own resources; however, they also had to use another company's one in coast region.
