Abstract
Flexural tests were carried out under several loading conditions, to verify a constitutive model considering both hardening process and loading history for early age concrete. The procedure to define bi-linear tension softening relation using volume function, which is based on material properties, was proposed, firstly. Then, slightly increased energy absorption in flexural tests on early age concrete was observed through the flexural tests with various combinations in initial damage and testing ages. In addition, measured load displacement relations were well simulated by using superposed stress-strain relation at each time step that was obtained by the volume function.
