Abstract
The usual amount of water concentration in stream water chemistry of the Abukuma River System flowing through the Nakadori of Fukushima Prefecture was investigated. The results showed that Cl- concentration in the stream water of the Abukuma River System was 66.8 μM on average. Compared with Chichibu-Tama-Kai mountainous catchments, the effect of atmospheric deposition such as seasalt in the stream water of the Abukuma River System is stronger for its altitude. The NO3- concentration in the Abukuma River System was 12.8 μM on average. Thus, the nitrogen saturation due to air mass pollution has not been observed in forest of the Nakadori, Fukushima Prefecture.
