Abstract
This paper presents the details of consideration and the proposal of the evaluation of soundness technique, based on the model experiment result about vertical pressure and level pressure. In order to evaluate soundness of the tunnel dynamically and to carry out efficiently timing of repair and reinforcement of tunnel lining, it is necessary to aim at establishment of the technique of forecasting the present loading state of tunnel lining. Then, the relation between crack progress and stiffness reduction was arranged, and construction standard (repair and reinforcement rank) for evaluation was advanced.
