Abstract
This paper discusses the schema of infrastructure information in order to explain its meaning and role in infrastructure lifecycles. The schema of infrastructure information can be represented in the form of a pyramid diagram in an abstract-concrete scale, and an information lifecycle can be divided into five terms. The pyramid of information is one in which the summit is a principle and it connects down to each infrastructure. In the spatiotemporal structure of the pyramid model, information technology is represented as acquisition, representation/processing, prediction, projection, life management, operation, communication, and information management. These contribute to the solution of information delay and the improvement of the efficiency of construction processes and the quality of products. Information management, which synthesizes information, is important in infrastructure information technology. It is necessary to make the best use of expanded information for next-generation infrastructure.
