Abstract
In the transition from supercritical flow to subcritical flow, an undular- or a classical-jump is formed. In this paper, flow conditions of undular- and classical-jumps for fully developed inflow condition have been investigated systematically. The flow conditions of jumps are classified, and the hydraulic conditions for the formation of each type of jump are determined. The effect of Reynolds number on the jump formation and air concentration in jumps are discussed.
