Abstract
 Recently, renewable energy is required to promote due to energy situation. A project to install hydroelectric power plant was performed in order to effectively utilize unused energy of wastewater in factory. Previous research has been evaluated the performance of several water turbine models based on hydraulic model experiment, and developed actual water turbine for circular open-channel. This study compared the performance between actual water turbine and model, and verified the accuracy of performance prediction for water turbine based on hydraulic model experiment. As a result, it was confirmed that the output characteristics of actual water turbine were influenced by Damming-up and Pump action depending on the installation position like the model. In addition, the output tendency on actual water turbine approximately corresponded with the model.
