Abstract
An attempt of safety and security is performed in various regions. But it is not clear what the regional factors affect the security for crime prevention in the area. In this study, we carried out a questionnaire survey in residential district where have some traffic accident and crime. We played attention to the factors which affect the security and fear about residential area and grasped the relation with area. And then we cleared how those factors affect the assessment of the security and fear for crime prevention in residential area. As a result, it has discovered that it is important to ensure the view of everyone , do better the assessment of the area and improve the road and roadside environment.
