It is known that PC slabs have higher shear strength than RC slabs, but the evaluation method is not reflected in the design criteria. In addition, regarding lightweight PC slabs, there are no research cases in which the application limits such as the upper limit of the amount of prestress have been examined. Therefore, in this study, the applicability of the past calculation formula was examined based on the results of punching shear experiments on PC slabs. In addition, in order to clarify the influential factors on the punching shear fracture behavior of the PC slab, we investigated using FEM analysis that can confirm the stress state inside the slab. From these results, the formula for calculating the punching shear strength that can be used for the actual design of PC slabs using ordinary and lightweight aggregates was derived by the same format as the PC beam formula of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers.
