Abstract
Steel sturctures in port facilities are located in the corrosive environment. These structures meet certain standards by applying installation of protection corrosion.
In this paper, gradually installation of anodes on steel pipe piles and in-situ measurement of potential of steel in sea water, electric current at anode connection were summerised. These results indicated effectiveness of protection corrosion at other steel piles around the corrosion proofing pile, potential convergence, and so on. Moreover, undertaking a statistical analysis of temporal and spatial chage of potential, the prediction model for potential after installation of anode was proposed, it can be used for a design of the number and lay out of anodes on the jetty.
