Abstract
For the establishment of the management method of port and harbor facilities which are severely deteriorated ion by chloride damage, quantitative knowledge of spray when wave impacts on the facilities such as a vertical wall and landing pier. In this study, the process of generation and scatter of spray was taken in pictures by using high speed cameras. The characteristics of spray such as diameter of each spray, number of generated spray, splash velocity, splush direction and so on were analyzed by a developed new algorism of analyzing captured images.
