Abstract
Various studies and actions in the hardware side and the software side of the disaster prevention countermeasure are carried out while recognition for the disaster risk is increasing since Great East Japan Earth quake in 2011. However, the disaster prevention countermeasures to tourists are still insufficient even if these measures for community residents are sufficient. Hakodate City is in the situation that main tourist sites are located in tsunami inundation area with being prominent tourist city in Hokkaido. In this study, we focused on ‘Tourism disaster prevention’ and developed Disaster Imagination Game for Tourism disaster prevention using various information by GIS with Hakodate City western district area where damaged from the tsunami in the past as a target and conducted it on a trial basis. As a result, we suggested importance prepared structure of the cooperation between businesses in the tourism by analyzing an assumed congestion condition of tsunami evacuation facilities in detail using GIS and Space Syntax Theory.
