Abstract
For the purpose of sludge purification of organic matter enriched river bank, the tidal flat environmental remediational examination has carried out by using granulated coal ash (GCA). For spraying work of the GCA by heavy equipment in tidal flats which sludge deposited, temporary work floor from land area has required. And, we had already developed temporary structure construction techniques by small-scale experiment. The purpose of this study is to establish a large-scale sediments remediation technique in tidal flats which sludge deposited. We constructed large-scale permeable layer by GCA on thickness of 0.5m. It was estimated that the construction cost was reduced 54%, and the construction efficiency was improved up to 4.3 times. In addition, we evaluated the construction technique in the view of biology by monitoring investigation. And, we found that the environment of the tidal flats was improved.
