Abstract
In the process of construction breakwaters, the caissons are usually in a floating state, so they are always oscillating due to wave action. For this reason, limit wave conditions to halt installing operation are usually determined in advance. In this study, a methodology which can determine the limit wave conditions easily considering the behavior of floating caisson was proposed. And it was shown that the dominant factors depend on the wave periods.
