Abstract
The collaboration between residents, local government and professionals is said to be an important issue for revitalization of community. Although, it is inevitable for aging rural villages to adopt a collaborative approach with getting local government and coordination experts' support, confusions in partnership sometimes occur due to the lack of continuous or effective professional coordination. The aim of this study is to clarify problems and rolls of professional coordinator in forming collaborative activity, by analyzing process and using a method of profile of participants in a rural village of Kamikatsu, Tokushima Japan. As a result, it is necessary to keep the continuous position and the accessibility of the collaboration coordinator with community, communication on the risk and missions in a community, and recognition of the role and significance of collaboration coordinator and community people themselves.
