Abstract
 This study presents that the current condition and the problem for water treatment process in local city of Indonesia as Solok city, West Sumatra, Indonesia for a case study. In addition, this study discussed about the benefit of technical training to improve water quality and quantity by considering human resource development. The result of investigation showed that worker of water treatment did not care the pressure loss by pipe resistance as a common problem in intake, water treatment and distribution. On the other hand, using powder type of aluminum sulfate was considered that it is difficult to obtain the certain performance for treatment of high turbidity raw water. As a result by only 19 days technical training mainly focus such points, clean water turbidity of 0 was obtained by worker thierself without any additional investment for their process.
