This paper presents an effective method for obtaining vibration properties of GFRP multilayer printed wiring boards (GFRP-ML-PWB) with various boundary conditions of screwed cramps by using Finite Element Method (FEM). Experiments of vibration of GFRP-ML-PWB based on the impulse frequency response technique are conducted. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with FEM results, which shows the validity of FEM analysis. Natural frequencies and vibration modes are obtained for various boundary conditions practically in use. It is also shown that the non-dimensional natural frequency determined by the flexural rigidity which is independent of the stacking sequences of can effectively be used to obtain the natural frequencies of various materials.
