COVID-19 significantly impacted and changed communities, including homes, schools, workplaces, and university education, among other fields. This paper, based on a symposium at the 24th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Community Psychology, examines how community psychology could contribute to university education. Firstly, the impact of the environment on university students, student counseling, and future support for students are discussed. Then, peer support activities using the Internet and their educational effects are reported. Next, university students’ educational practice of using photography with primary school children during COVID-19 is reported. Finally, based on these reports, university education during COVID-19 is discussed from a community psychology perspective.
