Barley (Hordeum vulgare cv.fiber snow) at 1 leaf-stage grown in pots were sprayed by PKS diluted at 2,000-fold (18〜54L/a) added with some wetting agents 3 times at one-week interval. Polyoxyethylene dodecyl ether (PDE) as a wetting agent was not suitable for foliar treatment of PKS because PKS added with PDE decreased the growth of barley. On the other hand, the growth of barley were tend to increase with treatment of PKS added with ester type of non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants. When barley plants were sprayed by PKS diluted at 5,000, 3,000 and 1,000-fold in the morning, noon, or evening in the incubator, all plants tended to increase regardless of application time of the day.
