Abstract

【Background】Because elderly living-kidney donors have increased, donors with medical complications increased.【Objectives】The objectives of this study were to examine the guidelines observance situation of the renal function and the renal function change after the kidney transplantation.【Methods】We reviewed charts of 65 donors and evaluated renal function in preoperation and one year after transplantation.【Results】As for the sex of the donor, 27 men, average age of donors were 59.4 years old. Mean SCr at the time of pretransplantation (one year after) was 0.67 (1.06) mg/dL. Mean Cin at the time of pretransplantation (one year after) was 79.4 (60.2) mL/min/1.73m2. Mean CCr at the time of pretransplantation (one year after) was 73.5 (55.2) mL/min/1.73m2. Eleven donors (17%) gave kidney in Cin<70 and CCr<70mL/min. The average of eGFRcr and eGFRcys showed the strongest correlation to Cin in preoperation.【Conclusion】Our data suggest that it is desirable to use Cin and plural parameters for evaluation of renal function.
