Abstract
A 6-year old male Shiba-dog diagnosed as orbital osteosarcoma. Without the surgical removal of the tumor, subcutaneous implantable injection port for chemotherapy of orbital osteosarcoma was used. After the first treatment with intra-arterial cisplatin injection, the dog has alived for about 115 days without hospitalization.
This protocol could be useful for the adjunctive chemotherapy to orbital evisceration in the treatment of orbital tumor in dogs.
