Abstract

This report introduces the outline of the "digital archive theory" lecture which has been running in Sophia University since fiscal 2016.The lecture consists of three elements, understanding, utilization, and construction of archive, and by experiencing each process in a practical manner,it was proved to that this method was extensively effective in teaching students how to read and use digital archive, as well as understand the current status, importance, and issues of digital archive. From now on, we aim to contribute to the development of digital humanities and training of digital archivists at the undergraduate level, as well as to improve service learning by cooperation with existing archive institutions.
