Proposal to develop Digital Archive System considering Sustainability and Reusability

Abstract

It is still difficult to maintain digital archive systems that make use of digital research resources, while the significance of sharing digital contents as cultural assets is being steadily recognized in Japan. Therefore, we propose a technically specialized method for constructing a digital archive that considers sustainability and reusability, in order to solve the problem of how to keep the digital archive systems. We also verify the usefulness of the proposed method by actually constructing and utilizing a digital archive.
