Abstract
Yahagi dam had two problems in the past, namely one was the prolongation of turbidity due to discharge water, and the other is a discharge of cold water during sweetfish's going against the stream. In order to solve these problems, installation of anti-turbidity fences was planned, and the management of selected-water intake facilities was reviewed. In this planning, a part of the fences was changed to movable type fences in order to lead clean water to dam surface after a flood, because it was expected that ordinal fence did not get good improvement. The background and reasons of the introduction of the movable type fences are mentioned and the facilities are introduced in this report.
