Abstract
On-the-site dam management includes many items such as a dam body, related facilities, reservoirs, and so on, over the upstream and the downstream areas. The safety management requires maintaining prescribed functions regardless of the scale and the frequency of troubles, the experience and knowledge of managers, and the degree of emergency. On the other side, the information of inspection and repair records and every kind of monitoring data are needed to be updated one by one, and this information is utilized for the efficient maintenance management. This paper introduces three-dimension modeling information management, which enables engineers who have not been engaged in survey or design or construction works to understand the conditions of the dam.
