Abstract
The rationalization of evaluation of dam foundation grouting effects using seismic tomography has been studied enthusiastically. The change of seismic wave velocity of hardened cement grouts due to press filtration and age should be considered in order to analyze the results of seismic tomography quantitatively. After the change of wet density of cement grouts is evaluated using the press filtration test, the seismic wave velocity of hardened cement grouts is measured, varying their wet density and age. Test results are reported and the discussion on quantitative evaluation of the results of seismic tomography is made.
