Development of the Automated System for Dam-Concrete Transportation

Abstract

This paper reports the automated system for the construction equipment of dam-concrete, on which all equipments of concrete mixing, transportation and placement are totally controlled. This system has been developed and utilized in order to make the job of concrete-transportation from the mixing plant to the placing site more efficiently and safer, by the optimum-control technology and the information technology. And, it is applied to the construction site of the Takizawa Dam.
