Abstract

Lecture on Engineering ethics has widely been brought to engineering education. In many cases, group work also becomes a part of curriculum in engineering ethics. However, it is difficult to evaluate the educational effect of group work for a few hours. Therefore, we conducted the questionnaires about images of Engineering ethics based on Semantic differential method before and after group work. Then, we evaluated the changes in attitudes of students from the changes of images for engineering ethics. In this paper, we analyze the image of the engineering ethics with principal component analysis. The changes of student’ s attitudes are also analyzed on image profile.
