Practical Approach of Long-term Internship

－With Theme of Reliability of Polymer Materials－

Abstract

Polymer materials have many advantages (e.g. light weight, processability, and corrosion resistance) and their uses are expanding. They are also expected to withstand long-term use even in harsher environments. However, the reliability data of polymer materials are often not disclosed. We will learn the characteristics of materials systematically, acquire the methods of evaluation and calculation, and establish the method which enables life span estimation in a short period of time.
