Abstract
When studying the dynamics of rigid bodies, understanding the moment of inertia is crucial. However, few demonstration experiments have been reported in the mechanics of mass systems and rigid bodies. Existing reports often lack sufficient details on teaching materials, experimental methods, and educational outcomes. In this study, two rotating bodies with the same mass but different shapes were created to enhance students’ interest and understanding of the moment of inertia. By rolling the bodies on a slope, a demonstration was conducted, and a post-experiment questionnaire showed improved student understanding.
