An Examination of Cross-Disciplinary Diploma Design Projects : Environmental Engineering and Architectural Design

Abstract

In this report, we introduced three examples of architectural diploma design projects in our laboratory. First, Design to improve outdoor summer thermal conditions using a simulation of Sensible temperature; second, a design proposal for renovating a school building using multiple types of environmental simulations; and third, a design proposal for designing a green office and implementing the CASBEE-Wellness Office Evaluation. All examples include elements and perspectives of environmental engineering.
