How the Basel Treaty Should be Perceived

Abstract

Preparation of domestic laws is now in progress towards the ratification of the Basel Treaty. Ratifying the Basel Treaty will express Japan's posture confronting hazardous wastes to the world, which will have a great influence on domestic waste-control administrations in the future. Those of us belonging to universities and research organizations have examined the ways we must cope with this issue.
