Abstract
There is a future style of educational method which gives a terminal device to every student in a class and make use of the device interactively with a lecturer. On the one hand, a presentation style lecture using personal computers is easier to practice because only one difference with traditional method is in that board writings can be replaced by digital electronic materials. So this is a new style of lecture which can be practiced by any lecturers. There are several advantages in this type of lecture, such as that visual slides can be used, enough time is given for explanations, relatively quickly proceed lectures can be given, review of lectures is easier and to measure degrees of understanding of the students is possible. Teaching material is not so difficult to prepare because of software progresses and developments of bright liquid crystal displays have now provided good opportunities to give lectures by the personal computer. In this report, details of a practice of lectures on "The energy conversion technology" are reported.
