抄録
In Recent year, African countries development is attracting attention of the whole world. African
continent composes on 54 countries rich in diversity (race, culture, religion, politics etc.) is 80 times
bigger than Japan, then, solution of global issues should take into account multidimensional
perspectives. Therefore, GMSI (Graduate program for mechanical systems innovation) and
GSDM( Global leader program for social design and management) have set up an international
workshop to create the connection between the University of Tokyo and other research institutions
and UN organizations in Republics of Benin and Kenya. In this workshop, we try to find out the
global research challenges in Africa compared to Japan. In order to find out the global issues in
holistic point of view, workshops in academic and international institutions, activities with diplomatic,
politic and justice members as well as farmers have been conducted.
