The bifacial energy gain (BGe) of bifacial photovoltaics is strongly dependent on geometric factors such as array height and width between arrays. For this reason, ray tracing methods and view factor models are often used to calculate BGe. On the other hand, there are situations where one wants to obtain BG in a short time, and a simplified model is also necessary. In this study, we analyzed the factors that cause variations in power generation due to BGe region, seasonality, and array specifications, we develop a simple but valid model for calculating BGe.
