26. Fabrication and evaluation of agricultural organic photovoltaics

Abstract

Organic photovoltaics (OPV) are characterized by their light weight, flexibility, and high wavelength selectivity. Taking advantage of these characteristics of OPV, we are conducting research on the practical application of solar matching that can both generate electricity and cultivate plants. In this study, we investigated the power generation characteristics of OPV and the photosynthetic rate due to light transmitted through the active layer of OPV. The results suggest that the OPV fabricated in this study may be applicable to solar matching.
