P7　Calculation and evaluation of snow melting using household waste heat

Abstract

The objective of this project is to use waste heat and solar heat generated in daily life for snow melting to reduce the time and labor required for snow accumulation in snowfall areas, as well as fuel for snowplows. The amount of snow that can be melted was calculated and evaluated based on AMeDAS data, using waste heat generated from solar power generation, solar water heaters, and hot water supply in ordinary households as heat sources.
