In this research, experiment, and crack pattern analysis on the cracks of the rough coated wall clay were carried out. As a result, it showed the following.1)when the amount of straw is small, the crack initiation pattern becomes a large cracking interval, Also, if the interval between the bamboo of the bamboo lath base is wide, the crack initiation pattern follows the cleft bamboo. 2)By the arrangement of the bamboo of the bamboo lath base, the crack initiation pattern, together with the mesh cracking, was able to induce a linear crack along the bamboo of the bamboo lath base.
