Abstract
We have grave concerns about the results of individual examinations performed by family doctors because of poor accuracy control. In the Kanazawa Medical Association we aim to obtain proper results of examinations by setting up committees for accuracy control and management. We perform triple checks (double check with referee check: the so-called Kanazawa Medical Association method) to obtain good results in the cancer examinations when checking the pictures obtained from stomach, lung and breast cancer screenings. The quality improved after checking the pictures. In endoscopic gastric cancer screenings, the evaluation of the pictures improved the quality and by checking the validity of the biopsy we could obtain the proper biopsy rate. We exchanged written agreements with the Kanazawa city office to analyze the accumulated data and aim to return the benefits of the analyzed results to the citizens.
It is important for the local medical association to manage the examination system and attempt to raise the ability of family doctors and improve the human relations between family doctors and the specialists of large hospitals and universities.
In conclusion we aim to earn the trust of the citizens taking medical checkups provided by us.
