In October 2015, a structure called ‘the community based integrated care system’ was established by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. To improve this system, it is important to promote an advanced pharmaceutical management function by closely collaborating with community pharmacists and hospital pharmacists. In the pharmacy of Fukuoka University Hospital, we developed a practical hospital training program for community pharmacists in March 2019. In this context we conducted a questionnaire survey after the introduction of this training program. Positive answers regarding the contents of this program and overall satisfaction were given by 100% of the participants. Therefore, it is considered to be necessary to conduct such training programs for community pharmacists in conjunction with regional cooperation.
