Abstract
This study demonstrates how a person can interact with art via computer technology. To interact with this work, all one has to do is pull the toilet paper and a Flash animation appears on the toilet paper holder. This process operates through the cooperation of a photoconductor, a LED, and a Gainer. First, the photoconductor and the Gainer read contrast of light from the LED caused by the person pulling on the roll of toilet paper. Second, that information is sent to Flash. Finally, Flash animation is projected onto the toilet paper holder through the projector. Therefore, this simple interactive series allows the observer to use the common daily act of pulling on toilet paper to engage in a personal artistic experience via the world of computer technology.
