Abstract
In this research, we conducted experiments in which the perception of bicycle signage was examined by using photorealistic CG model. We studied suitable character size and signboard size, character color and signboard color, and height of the signboard from the ground in the sight of the cyclists running in the city center at 15 km/h. The results include the following points. 1) The character size for the pedestrian signage is insufficient in a signage for cyclists. 2) A blue-purple color is comparatively less affected by the changes of the shadow.
