Abstract
On a plane, properly arranging a pair of plan and elevation of a solid figure, projecting those figures respectively on proper two lines from two points and furthermore projecting those images from other two, points, perspective drawing of the original solid figure can be constructed by intersection of corresponding projector. This paper presents the theory of this new method of obtaining perspective drawing and its applications and elucidates the relation of two parallel coordinate systems which keep images on line constant and between the arrangement of plan and elevation and the center of projection, and also shows that this method is an extension of Einschneideverfahren in parallel axonometric drawing and that it is easy to obtain perspective drawing without any technical knowledge if the arrangement of plan and elevation and the center of projection is previously given.
