A new automatic measuring system is developed by using an optical data processor and a micro-computer for 3-Dimensional objects. Living human bodies are applied to the measuring models in order to make men's suits easier and earlier than that by the ordinal methods. The measuring precision is about 0.4% for human bodies and this is found to be enough for the apparel making.
