Abstract
Similarly to the ellipse angle the hyperbola angle is also introduced to express the roundness values of curve. While curves of various functions were previously examined with regard to the roundness values, general curves as parts of letterings are measured with an image scanner and a computer. The measured values are numerically converted to the roundness values. The method is applied to curvilinesr parts of letters C of letterings.
