While remote medicine has developed and expanded recently, home hemodialysis has yet to develop and disseminate an adequate remote dialysis support system. This report aims to provide an overview of the remote support system we have developed specifically for home hemodialysis and the feeling of using it. The current issues of home hemodialysis include errors in dialysis records, troublesome reporting to medical institutions, and difficulty accessing dialysis records by a medical practitioner. In the newly developed system, data such as dialysis status and treatment records are managed in the cloud by two management systems, one on the patient and the other on the facility. The system can reduce the time and effort required to write dialysis records of patients and enable medical staff to access the records smoothly. In addition, this system was designed to be compatible with four dialysis machine manufacturers, ensuring its versatility. Patients who used the system gave a favorable impression of its usability and operability. This system may contribute to the spread of safe and secure home hemodialysis.
