Abstract
The vapor pressures and compressed liquid PVT properties of HFC-245fa (1, 1, 1, 3, 3-pentafluoropropane) were measured at temperatures from 293 to 343 K. Total 20 points of vapor pressures and specific volumes along four isotherms were obtained. The simple correlations for vapor pressures and specific volumes were developed on the basis of the present measurements. Isothermal compressibility was calculated from these correlaions. Specific volume data obtained show the good linearity in the Hudleston plots. Total uncertainty in the vapor pressure and specific volume measurements is estimated less than 3 kPa and 0. 09%, respectively.
