Magnetic Excitation of BaCoS₂ near the Mott Transitions Induced by Pressure and Carrier-Number Control

Neutron inelastic measurements have been carried out to study the dynamical magnetic properties of BaCoS₂ near the Mott transitions indueedby two different means, by the application of pressure and by carrier-number control. The low energy excitation spectra have been found to be significantly different between thus induced metallic phases with similar Néel temperatures and similar antiferromagnetic staggered moments atlow temperatures.
