“Musumekō” is a medicine treated by Ōshimaya Denemon. Ikedaya Seikichi and Ikedaya Risaburō, rental bookstores, were involved in sales of this medicine. The relationship between them and Ōshimaya is important not only for selling medicine but also for considering the distribution of books.
