Abstract
Sometimes, it is too difficult to estimate the the concentration time of the slope for clarifing the critical rainfall amount of the occurence of the debris flow. Moriyama and Hirano et al have been proposed to predict without the concentration time of the slope by using neural network. And Kawahara and Hirano at al have been proposed to clarify the oncentration time of the slope by using neural network.<BR /> When less of the data of the occurence of the debris flow, neural network predict all of the raifall pattern is on occunece of the debris flow. We tried to clarify the catchment area has less of the data of the occurence of the debris flow. By using the record of the flash flood, it is clarified the concentration time of the slope for the prediction of the debris flow.
